First rejection!

It had to happen sometime. I pitched an agent recently and she asked for my first three chapters. I worked diligently over the last few months polishing and had good feedback, however, I got my first rejection. I’m sure it’s the first of many and it stings slightly, but it was personal and I really appreciate her taking the time to read my work.

I hope that all my rejections will be this personal in the future. She gave me a lot to think about and I am in the middle of my third round of editing which will soon turn into my fourth. I think my writing is already improving with every piece of feedback I get and this is another hurdle I need to overcome to become a published author.
